Bacon Gourmet at 831 South Delaware Drive, Easton, Pennsylvania.

All I can say is you can’t get back a first impression, very disappointing!! Arrived to 2 other tables at 4:30pm on Sunday. Bacon Spinach Quiche Special was torched and the crust was so hard you couldn’t get through it, definitely not home made (I mean come on it’s quiche, how hard is it to make) and likely left over from brunch this morning. Loaded Baked potato was NOT fresh, and was lukewarm and mediocre at best (again not a difficult thing to make sure the baked potatoes are fresh and hot). The roll for the Pork Belly Sandwich was grilled to long and tasted burnt yet was cold to the touch, the contents themselves were again lukewarm as were the fries. There is no flair to the plates or the dining area decor at all. No pictures on the walls, no garnish on the plates, NOTHING! My prediction is this place won’t last long unless some serious adjustments are made and attention to detail is a focus. A good Chef does not a good restaurant make!!

Great bar, nothing beats bacon and beer. Happy hour is a must for free bacon at the bar to go with drink specials. To top it off great atmosphere, beautiful place. Deep fried bacon and maple bacon ice cream is a must-try beleve me, so good you will revisit for more. The burgers are made fresh and there are also a vegetarian and gluten free options. Just an overall great food experience.
